Happy Spring Everyone!!!
One entire month of "A listening Room Experience" at The Parlor in Leipers Fork...and wow what a month it's been. I'm so impressed with the songwriter community that has embraced our new venue! We are growing and growing and Adrienne and I are so excited! The room is intimate and the listening atmosphere has been incredible. We are stoked for what is to come as we continue to grow this round for the benefit of the venue, the town and our songwriters. Not only has The Parlor opened their doors for us on Monday nights, they have also welcomed songwriters on the weekends to perform. Ruth has an open mic on Friday nights from 4:30-7:30, and afternoon music on Saturdays and Sundays. Please come out and support this venue!! It's places like these that us songwriters depend on to have our songs heard week after week.
Bobby Ray's Rocking Writers Round found a new home for us to rock every Tuesday night! The Rusty Nail will be hosting us all each week from 6-8:30pm. We had our first one on March 25th and it was fantastic! The room was full...the talent was incredible! The venue is excited to have us and that's all we can hope for! Please come out and continue to support our writers round!
The Preacher's Daughter released on Feb. 7th has exceeded all of my expectations! Our spotify streams have reached 3658 in the first 54 days! That's my best release so far to date and I am in awe of the response. I can't wait to see how far it goes!
We have one Live in the Living Room this month on April 9th. Tune in to Facebook Live on my page to hear the songs and stories of Brennan McGuire and Brad Janssen! These two guys are phenomenal and have a duo called "Tumblewood Preachers." They play all over Nashville and beyond and are super talented! We have a shoot and show coming up April 21st at Just Love Coffee in Hendersonville. The weather is getting warmer and the days a little longer so we have Rhythm & Lyrics Photography out with the camera, taking amazing shots of some talented people! We had our first one at The Parlor in March and WOW did the photos turn out amazing!! Go check out her page to see what I'm talking about and schedule to get some pics done.
422 West will be rockin it out in Minor Hill, TN at Tuck's Bar on April 5th! I can't believe we get to play the same stage as some of the greats...Gene Watson, Wade Hayes and many others. Chuck is the best host and treats us like royalty. Please make the drive and support these awesome people and I promise you'll have a great time!!!
I pinch myself everyday because this life we're living just doesn't seem real! Enjoy every moment, praise God in ALL the moments and be thankful for the blessings! Happy Easter!
