☀️ Soaking Up the Last Days of Summer
Hello Friends!

August has arrived, bringing those long, golden evenings and the final stretch of summer. Before we know it, the kids will be heading back to school, football season will be kicking off, and cooler days will begin replacing the summer heat. It's a great time to soak up every sunset, enjoy live music with friends, and make a few more summer memories before autumn rolls in.

🎶 Songwriter Nights & Great Music Venues

August is already off to a fantastic start! On August 1st, Steve Brown and I had the pleasure of playing at Round Hear in Goodlettsville. What a unique venue! The building is actually round, giving it such a fun atmosphere, and if you haven't been there yet, you owe it to yourself to check it out. They serve incredible Italian food and feature live music every single night.
On August 4th, I'll be back at the Get Up Round at Pooky's Jane's. Then on August 13th and 21st, I'll return to Lee Rascone's Writers Night at the historic Millennium Maxwell House.
If you've never heard of Lee Rascone, do yourself a favor—look him up on YouTube and watch his documentary. It's an inspiring look into Nashville's songwriting community and well worth your time. There's a link to the video above.

Believe it or not, after August there are only 14 shows left on the 2026 schedule! If you've been meaning to catch a 422 West show, now's the time. We'd love to see you singing along, dancing, and rocking with us before another great year comes to a close.

🍂 Looking Ahead to Fall

As summer begins to fade, I hope you'll take time to enjoy these last warm days with family and friends. Whether you're getting the kids ready for school, planning one last getaway, or simply relaxing on the porch in the evening, I hope you'll make live music part of your plans.
